Modern art gallery with a man looking out of the window, prefering the view outside.
Square rainbow
Rain clouds hovver over a city of identical, squarish, tower blocks. A square rainbow has formed over the buildings.
Window box and stumps
A building sits in a landscape where all of the trees have all been cut down and only stumps remain. At one window of the building, a woman pours water on to a windowbox of small, green plants.
Picnic in yellow smog
A family is having a picnic in a desolate landscape that is filled with yellow smog. The family wear gas masks and umbrellas to protect them. from the bright sun, overhead.
Thought bubble paradise
A man in an idylic country scene is chasing his own thought bubble, in which the idylic scene around him is replicated. He dreams of a better world, but he is already there.
Neighbourhood has changed
Two fish swim in water than is full of discarded, human junk. One fish is saying, “The neighbourhood sure has changed since I was a kid.”
Stonehenge on tower blocks
Ancient stonehenge sitting on a modern, huge, glass, skyscraper and dwarfed by it.
Punk and the parrot
A punk with brightly coloured hair looks in the window of a pet shop. There; he sees a parrot that is coloured the same as his hair.
Yellow tuba
A man plays a tuba in a yellow, smog-filled environment. The notes coming from his tuba correspond with the smoke coming from nearby factory smokestacks.
Cottage in building
A bird’s eye view of a three storey buidling. The building looks exactly the same as all the others in the street. But, from above, we can see that inside is a small, quaint, thatched cottage.
Piano player and pollution
A man in a junkyard composes music. The notes he draws on paper correspond to the black puffs of smoke from a nearby chimneystack
One day son_hamburgers
A man and his son, both south american natives, look up at an exotic rainforest. The father says, “One day son, all of this will be hamburgers.”
Lifting paving stone
In a cold, concrete, urban environment, a small man lifts a paving slab to discover green grass underneath it.
Joe’s vegetarian restaurant
In the kitchen of a vegetarian restaurant, the chef happily tucks into a big, juicy steak.
No smoking on bus
A red, double-decker London bus is stuck in traffic. Car fumes pollute the air. Inside the bus is a sign, ‘No smoking, Penalty £400’.
Israelites and junk
Moses is about to lead he Israelities through the red sea. But the parted waves reveal a plethora of waste and metal garbage that blocks their path.
Rebel with too many causes
A man looks at his array of protest T shirts, wondering which one to wear that day.
Isnt progress wonderful?
A polluted scene near factories and a waterway into which effluent discharges. Two people are admiring concorde as it flies overhead. One is saying, “Isn’t progress wonderful?”
Well preserved old people
A very wrinkled old couple sit on the porch of their house. The woman says, “If we’ve been eating food containing preservatives all our lives, then how come we’re not well preserved?”
Rooftop cottage
In a polluted city, a man proudly stands at the door of his tradirtional farm cottage, that sits atop a bland high-rise building.
Howling at heart moon
A blue, night scene at the top of some urban, high-rise buildings. A man is howling, like a dog at a yellow, heart-shaped room.
Homos and Noah’s ark
Noah is filling his ark with creatures as the rains start to fall. However, he angrily stops two homosexuals from entering. “Hey, wait a second!”
Prison bars on picture
A prisoner in a cell gazes on a framed picture of a landscape on his wall. The picture has iron bars on it, reminding him of his imprisonment.
Already done this one
Window cleaners of glass high-rise buildings. “Hey, we’ve already done this one.”
Fish and aqualung
A fish swims through a polluted stretch of water. The fish breathes through an aqualung, because the water is so filthy.
Cyclist and juggernaut trucks
A small cyclist in traffic is surrounded by huge trucks. The cyclist is thinking of a lone David, surrounded by large Goliaths.
Exit from life
A five-lane highway, where the right lane leads off a cliff. A sign above that lane reads, ‘Exit from Life’. Some cars drive off that cliff.
Fur shop
The inside of a fur shop. A new customer is about to be attacked by a bear who has camouflaged himself amongst the coats.
Moss man and tree
A man sits on a park bench beneath a tree. Both the man and the tree have moss growing on one side of them
Country scene on buildings
A farming scene is going on at the top of a series of connected high-rise buildings
Guilt free
A man sits in his kitchen, surrounded by things that are free of harmful things: Additive free, gluten free, chlorine free etc. He wears a T shirt on which is written ‘Guilt Free’.
City and desert Island
A two part cartoon. Part 1: A man in a city dreams of being on a desert island. Part 2; A man on a desert island dreams of being in a city.
Reaching for the stars
At night, a man on a cliff top tries to reach even closer to the stars by standing on a chair.
Beer belly suicide
Man with a beer belly standing on the end of a jetty. He has a rope around both his neck and belly. He is about to commit suicide.
Scrapyard hammock
A tramp lies in a hammock that is slung between two poles in a dirty, sad, scrapyard home. In his imagination, he is on a tropical island paradise and the sun is shining brightly on to the waves.
Badly art directed
A beautiful country scene. A cynical advertising man is saying, “I just think it’s been badly art directed, that’s all.”
Environment friendly
A suburban neighbourhood on the weekend, with everyone cutting grass and trees. One hippy-type man sits in his overgrown yard. A sign on his house hreads ‘Environment Friendly.’
Degas absinthe spoof
A spoof of ‘The absinthe drinkers’ by Degas. ‘Their first date was an complete disaster. He was lousy talking about emotions and she was hopeless when they talked about sport.’
Hare Krishnas and Israelites
Moses is about to lead he Israelites through the parted Red Sea. However, he sees a bunch of orange-clad Hare Krishnas coming the other way.
Desert island among buildings
An urban scene with a man in a small square, surrounded by blue buildings. The man has a thought bubble, where he sees himself on a desert island.
Desert island and TV
A man on a desert island has cut the few trees on the island, to create an armchair and television set. Through the hollow of the TV he can see the sunset.
Devil and parking meter
A woman puts a coin in a parking meter. Undergound, the devil with a wheelbarrow full of gold, waits to collect the woman’s coin as it falls.
Discoverer of paranoia
A man looks at a statue entitled ‘Discoverer of paranoia’. Inside the walls of the statue we can see the statue of a paranoid man.
Dropping stars
A purple-coloured scene where a man is collecting fallen stars. As he does so, he does not realise that the the stars that he has collected are falling through a hole in the sack that he carries on his back.
Goodbye Cruel World
Night scene with the illuminated windows of a high-rise building spelling out the words ‘Goodbye Cruel World’. Through another window, we can see the hung silhouette of a man. Two others are nearby, saying; “He was an attention seeker, right to the end.”
Farting prohibited
A man in a polluted environment reads a large public warning sign, ‘All Farting Stricltly Prohibited’.
Exercycle in pollution
Scene of a polluted cityscape. Through the window of a building, we can see a man on an exercycle. Even inside his room, he is wearing a gas mask.
